They shouldbe used as masters to calibrate gage blocks, length standards of same accuracy and measuringinstruments.Grade 00The new standard ISO 3650 does not take thisaccuracy grade into consideration as the uncertaintiesof measurement achieved with the procedureapplied for calibration usually lead to adisparity with specified tolerances. The rules of uncertainty of measurement, forproving the conformance or non-conformanceof the product with the standard ISO 14253-1:1998, have determined the withdrawal of theaccuracy grade 00.Wide experience in practical use of gageblocks have proven that gages of the calibrationclass K could easily replace those of accuracygrade 00 used until now.Gage blocks of grade 00 remain, however, available upon request.Rapp Industrial Sales888 789-7277Certificate of Calibrationand TraceabilityAll gage blocks from Brown & Sharpe aresupplied with a Certificate of Calibration issuedby the accredited calibration laboratory of anational calibration service.
