<strong>BD</strong> Calcium Dye Kits have been optimized for detecting calcium<br />
flux in living cells. They provide increased signal-to-background in<br />
an easy-to-use no wash assay format. In most cases, the dye kits<br />
perform better than kits currently available on the market with no<br />
known interference to ligands (small molecules, peptide/proteins<br />
and lipids). Also, the “addition artifact” commonly seen in this<br />
application is significantly reduced with the new dye formulations.<br />
The <strong>BD</strong> kits can be used on different fluorescence-based readers for<br />
compound screening. In particular, the PBX-format is suitable for the<br />
<strong>BD</strong> ACTOne GPCR screening technology.<br />
