Operational Aspects of an EIA4.2 ScreeningScreening of the project shall be performed at the initial stage of the project developmentso that proponents are aware of their obligations before deciding on the budget, projectdesign and execution plan.This stage is applicable only for Category ‘B’ developmental activity i.e., if generalconditions are applicable for a Category B project, then it will be treated as Category Aproject.
