Pin rounds are scheduled throughoutthe season and a minimum of 6 rounds is recommended.The BCGA Pin is played by golfers in British Columbia and is ofparticular importance as it was introduced by a Beach Grovemember – Myrna MacDonald. The player with the best net ina Pin Round is the days winner – at the end of the season theplayer with the best net of all the pin rounds has their cardsubmitted to the Zone. The best net from the Zone is thensubmitted to the BCGA to compete with all the other ZoneWinners --- the BC champion is the best net of all the Zones.The RCGA Pin is a national competition. Players must play 4 Pinrounds and the player with the best net score, averaged over allthe scores in the club, receives a commemorative pin.The great thing about Pin rounds is that players can play fromany tee box as scores are calculated using the slope and ratingsystem to level the playing field. All winners receive a prize plusan invitation to The Champions Reception.THE LADIES FALL CLASSIC“The Show-Me-The-Money Tournament”Sunday September 18thThis is the most collegial tournament of the year. Players play inteams of four with the two best-net counting towards the team’sfinal score. The teams are posted prior to the tournament andthe whole club (men and women) take part in the pari-mutualbetting. Mega prizes for the best scores and for the best-dressedteams.
