Joe Wiener, CDT, AIA, NCARB, Farnsworth Group
Track ENV
Owners and administrators need good, specific information in order to make long range plans. One may budget and
invest capital to repair and maintain the existing physical plant, or elect to merely maintain the existing while planning
to replace a portion or all of the buildings. A Built Environment Assessment is an important tool used to help plan
for the future by providing a baseline to use to determine the practicality of maintaining and improving the existing
campus buildings and grounds while considering new construction alternatives for the community.
