And in eightdebates against Washington State and Whitman,the Idaho teams won four and lost four.At Pull man on December 12, Idaho's teamof Dale Greeley and Bill Edmark rolled througha four-debate tournament with three victoriesagainst a lone defeat.On J anuary 15 at Moscow, Idaho placedthird in the Inland Empire junior college tournament,behind Washington State and Whitman.Lewiston State Normal was fourth. Thefour schools in the meet entered eighteen teams.Idaho's representatives included Doris MaeHolz. Betty Echternach, Elaine Anderson, EleanorAndrews, Bill Edmark, Dick M inden,Sam Butterfield, Bill Raymond, Evan LaFollette,and Clyde Martin.To close the forensic season, Milton Georgeand Mitch Hunt entered the P acific CoastForensic League meet at Los Angeles. Huntwon first place in the after-dinner speakingdivision, and George was chosen with threeother students to participate in a group radiobroadcast on "What is the role of the UnitedStates in post-war reconstruction~ " Idaho hasin vi ted the League to meet in Moscow in 1944.127
