At Seattle in their opening tilts, the Washingtonianswere victorious by 20-point margins.At Moscow Idaho was way off form and dropped the opening game 47to 26. Washington rang up its victory margin in the fi rst half, 21 to 9.The Huskies ran wild in the second game, scoring 72 points to Idaho's34. Morris and Gilbertson each netted 20 tallies for Washington in thelast game.In the Washington series Fred Quinn netted 47 points for Idaho, andJohn Ryan 25.Idaho Dumps Oregon State- OnceOregon S t a te Ser iesIdaho - 49 Oregon State - 52Idaho - 56 Oregpn State - 44Idaho - 32 Oregon State - 48Idaho - 51 Oregon State - 57The Vandals played their best basketball of the season against OregonState college, and upset the Beavers 56 to 44 for their only conferencevictory. Despite a record-breaking 27-point scoring spree by Fred Quinn,O.S.C. trimmed the Vandals by three points in their opening game. Idahocame back a night later to win by twelve points. Quinn, Rudy Ryan, andCliff Benson led the Vandals to victory.Idaho was no match for Oregon State in their first Corvallis game, butduring the second played on even terms with the Beavers.
