12. Attach the main landing gear to the fuselageusing two 3mm x 8mm self-tapping screws, two 3mmwashers and a #2 Phillips screwdriver. Note that thegear angle is forward when installed. 14. Locate a 2mm x 25mm machine screw and 2mmwasher. Slide the washer on the screw, then slide thescrew through the hole in the main gear. 16. Slide the plywood spacer on the screw, thenthe wheel.13. Locate the wheels for you aircraft. There are twolarger wheel for the main gear and one smaller wheelfor the nose gear.When installing the wheel and wheel pantfor the main gear, all the components mustbe inside the wheel pant before the 2mm x25mm machine screw can be tightened. 17. Once the wheel is in position, place one of thewheel collars on the screw. The round side of thecollar will be against the wheel. Use a 1.5mm hexwrench to temporarily tighten the setscrew.Always use threadlock on metal-to-metal fastenersto prevent them from vibrating loose. 15. Slide a 2mm washer on the screw, then threada 2mm nut on the screw.
