Always balance your propeller. An unbalancedpropeller can cause vibrations to be transmittedinto the airframe, which could damage theairframe or other components as well asproduce unwanted flight characteristics.7. Slide the assembly on the motor shaft. Position theassembly so there is a small 5/64-inch (2mm) gapbetween the backplate and cowling.9. Place the spinner cone on the propeller. Use thescrew included with the spinner assembly and a #1Phillips screwdriver to secure the cone in position.Make sure the propeller is centered in the openingsso the spinner does not rub against the prop blades, which could potentially cause them to fail.We recommend using the optional spinnerto enhance the looks of your model.6. Slide the propeller on the adapter shaft of thespinner. Place the washer on, then the nut. Do nottighten the nut at this time.8. Use a 6mm open-end wrench to tighten the nut, securing the assembly to the motor shaft. Check thatthe backplate does not rub against the cowl. If it does, loosen the nut, move the assembly forward, thenre-tighten the nut.10. Replace the battery hatch cover back onthe fuselage.26 E-flite Cessna 150 Aerobat 250 ARF Assembly Manual
