SMSgt(s) Nutt was previously station at the Air CombatCommand Program Office and comes to us with a wealth of experience and knowledge. MSgts Griffith andDechon were both previously stationed at Luke AFB and both bring a unique field perspective to the team.The strength of your assessment team is the diverse background of its team members. I would like to take thistime to say thanks to all three for making an enormous sacrifice for the Air Force and the Air Force MetrologyProgram by taking on this demanding assignment. Long presided over theretirement ceremony held in honor of Chief Master SergeantMichael J. McGreevy. Conducted at the Airlifter Hall onScott AFB, IL, this ceremony recognized sustained standardof excellence upheld throughout his 30 years of service to theUnited States Air Force. Chief McGreevy joined the AirForce on 2 March 1981. Following technical school at LowryAFB, CO, the Chief was assigned to MacDill AFB, Florida.Subsequent assignments included Kadena AB, Japan; AndersenAFB, Guam; Nellis AFB, Nevada; the AFMETCALEvaluation Team in Heath, OH; and another tour at NellisAFB where as a 2P he led the squadron maintenancesupervision. Chief McGreevy served as the HQ AMCCommand Maintenance Integration Section Manager andPMEL MAJCOM Functional Manager during his last dutyassignment at Scott AFB, IL. The Chief’s vision andmentorship will be carried on by those who have had thepleasure of serving beside him.
