Funding is availablefor:preliminary meetings that identify the factors that a project's proponent mustaddress in its environmental impact statement;environmental impact statement reviews; andmediation sessions and public hearings before the review panel.4.1 Eligibility:Anyone interested in the review <strong>of</strong> a particular project, subject to environmentalassessment review by a panel, may apply for funding. The work must relate directly tothe environmental assessment <strong>of</strong> the project in question, and should give the panel ormediator new information not presented by the proponent or other participants.Public participation is encouraged in the public review process. However, funds arelimited.
