OP 24 - CLOSE-UP (1) - Use of "ever" and "lately / recently" with the present perfect.

(1) Read the sentence. Student repeats, inserting "ever".
(2) Just give the minimal prompt. Student asks the question (again); this time you can answer. In case of an
affirmative, try to elicit further questions, which will usually be in the past tense: "When did you go?" etc.
(You can then ask the student the question, or you can wait until step (3) and do the whole series.)
(3) If you haven't already done this as a part of step (2), you can now ask all of the questions, with "ever".
Student can give a short answer. In case of an affirmative, elicit further information.
