Hildy Hanson<br />
Hildy has worked in a copper mine in the Yukon, as a ranch hand in southern Alberta, as a<br />
high school teacher and for Dow Jones in Dallas, Texas. For the past 15 years, she has been<br />
employed at Keyano College in a variety of divisions, most recently in Workforce<br />
Development. Hildy took over <strong>Essential</strong> <strong>Skills</strong> training (including the Syncrude Canada Ltd.<br />
ERIC–Safety and Workplace Reading program, SAM–Syncrude Applied Math, and WWF–<br />
Workplace Writing Fundamentals) at the College in 2000. Her responsibilities also include<br />
the English as a Second Language (ESL) programming at the College, Construction Safety<br />
and Training Systems (CSTS) testing and TOWES testing for industry. Hildy has worked<br />
closely with oilsands industry stakeholders and other partners to meet the training needs of<br />
a diverse clientele including labour, trades, skilled immigrants, Aboriginal organizations and<br />
the federal and provincial governments.<br />
Margaret Imrie<br />
Margaret Imrie has been with Aurora College for 10 years and is currently the Vice President<br />
Academic at the College. During her time with Aurora, Margaret has worked at all three of<br />
the campuses; Yellowknife, Inuvik and Fort Smith. A long time resident of the north,<br />
Margaret has lived in locations throughout the Territories and Nunavut.<br />
Colin MacGregor<br />
Colin MacGregor is Chief Human Resource Officer for the Inuvialuit Regional Corporation and<br />
a Director of the Aboriginal Futures Society, a partnership consortium. Colin is also a<br />
member of the Inuvik District Education Association and the Inuvik Regional Training<br />
Partnership. Colin has held senior human resource positions in a number of major<br />
organizations including Nova Corp., Raytheon Canada, Spar Aerospace, Conestoga College<br />
and Casco Inc. He has extensive experience in organization design, organization alignment,<br />
employee development and succession planning in both Canada and the United States. Colin<br />
has taught part-time for 10 years and holds the distinction of being the first Community<br />
College Graduate in Ontario to become Chairman of the Board of Governors. He received a<br />
Bachelor of Science in Business from Syracuse University and a Diploma in Business from<br />
Lambton College.<br />
Robert Marshall<br />
Robert Marshall, a professional engineer, is currently the Technical Director for the<br />
Aboriginal Pipeline Group (APG). Mr. Marshall has over thirty-five years of experience in<br />
infrastructure development primarily related to natural gas transmission systems worldwide.<br />
Prior to joining the APG, Mr. Marshall spent several years in South America as a Director of<br />
Engineering and later as construction manager for the Gas Pacifico pipeline which traversed<br />
the Andes Mountains between Argentina and Chile. More recently he spent almost four years<br />
working for the Minerals, Oil & Gas Division of the GNWT as a senior pipeline advisor helping<br />
the government to prepare for their role in a future Mackenzie Gas Pipeline. Robert is the<br />
industry representative on the Board of Directors of Aboriginal Futures and a member of the<br />
POTC Committee.<br />
