4. The <strong>VLIDORT</strong> 2.6 package4.1. OverviewThe <strong>VLIDORT</strong> “tarball” package comes as a zipped Tar file. The package directory structure issummarized in Figure 4.1. From the parent directory, there are nine upper level subdirectories,including one for the main source code (vlidort_main), one for <strong>VLIDORT</strong>’s Fortran 90input/output type structure definition files (vlidort_def), two for scalar and vector radiativetransfer testing environments (vlidort_s_test and vlidort_v_test) and one for<strong>VLIDORT</strong> supplement files (vsup).
