CourtsPeople who are stopped by the police for breaking the law will be sent to court where they will be judgedinnocent or guilty. If they are found guilty they will have to pay a fine or go to jail. There are two main kinds<strong>of</strong> courts:Magistrates’ Court which deals with less serious crimes such as driving <strong>of</strong>fences. The magistrate decideswhether you are guilty or not without a jury.Crown Court for very serious <strong>of</strong>fences.
