Yourpersonal tutor will review your progress towards theachievement of your main qualification aim and helpyou deal with any personal and academic issues thatmay occur.NEXT STEPOn successful completion you could progress onto aLevel 2 course at <strong>The</strong> <strong>College</strong>, an Apprenticeship orinto employment.BTEC LEVEL 2 CREATIVE MEDIA STUDIESBASED AT: CONSTITUTION HILL, POOLECOURSE LEVEL: LEVEL 2ENTRY REQUIREMENTSYou will need a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade D orabove - one of which must be English (preferablyLanguage). You should demonstrate an active interestin media studies.THE COURSEYou will explore the creative digital world by makingfilms using single camera techniques, creatinggraphic design products and producing 2D animationproductions. <strong>The</strong> course is largely practical whichgives a broad range of skills and has been developedto focus on the creative media sector providingvocational related education for learners to achievea nationally recognised Level 2 qualification. It alsoprovides opportunities for learners to develop skills,knowledge and understanding relevant to the mediaindustries, including analysing media products andtheir audiences.This course combines all aspects of media includingvideo, radio and digital photography.
