Ventilation The ventilation in the hospital may be achieved by either natural supply or by mechanical exhaust of air. Mechanical Engineering Air-conditioning and Room Heating in operation theatre and neo-natal units should be provided. Air coolers or hot air convectors may be provided for the comfort of patients and staff depending on the local needs. 37
