Electrical System Section 6<strong>ICE</strong>/OFF/CLEAN TOGGLE SWITCHFunctionThe switch is used to place the ice machine in <strong>ICE</strong>, OFFor CLEAN mode of operation.SpecificationsDouble-pole, double-throw switch. The switch isconnected into a varying low D.C. voltage circuit.Check ProcedureNOTE: Because of a wide variation in D.C. voltage, it isnot recommended that a volt meter be used to checktoggle switch operation.1. Inspect the toggle switch for correct wiring.2. Isolate the toggle switch by disconnecting all wiresfrom the switch, or by disconnecting the Molexconnector and removing wire #69 from the toggleswitch.CONTROL BOARD RELAYSFunctionThe control board relays energize and de-energizesystem components.SpecificationsRelays are not field replaceable. There are five relays onthe control board:RelayControls#1 Water Pump#2 Water Inlet Valve#3 Harvest Valve / HPR Valve (Remotes)#4 Water Dump Valve#5 Contactor (Self-Contained)Contactor / Liquid Line Solenoid (Remotes)3. Check across the toggle switch terminals using acalibrated ohm meter. Note where the wire numbersare connected to the switch terminals, or refer to thewiring diagram to take proper readings.Switch Setting Terminals Ohm Reading66-62 Open<strong>ICE</strong>67-68 Closed67-69 Open66-62 ClosedCLEAN67-68 Open67-69 Closed66-62 OpenOFF67-68 Open67-69 Open4.
