Section 6Electrical System4. FREEZEThe water pump starts after the 30-second pre-chill. An even flow ofwater is directed across theevaporator and into each cube cell,where it freezes.After six minutes the water inlet valveis locked out and can not addadditional water.When sufficient ice has formed, thewater flow (not the ice) contacts theice thickness probes.
