Section 6Electrical SystemProblem: Water Will Not Run Into The Sump TroughDuring The Freeze CycleStep 1 Verify water is supplied to the ice machine, andthen start a new freeze sequence by moving the <strong>ICE</strong>/OFF/CLEAN toggle switch to OFF then back to <strong>ICE</strong>.Step 2 Wait until the freeze cycle starts (approximately45 seconds, the freeze cycle starts when thecompressor energizes), and then refer to chart.ImportantThis restart must be done prior to performingdiagnostic procedures. This assures the ice machineis not in a freeze cycle water inlet valve safety shutoffmode. You must complete the entire diagnosticprocedure within 6 minutes of starting.Is water flowing intothe water trough?The Water LevelLight is:Step 2 Checking for normal operationThe Water Inlet ValveSolenoid Coil is:Causeyes off Energized This is Normal Operation don’t change any partsno on or off Energized Or De-Energized Proceed to step 3Step 3 Leave the ice machine run, then disconnect thewater level probe from control board terminal 1F.ImportantFor the test to work properly you must wait until thefreeze cycle starts, prior to disconnecting the waterlevel probe.
