About 45 attended out <strong>of</strong>which 23 were Alumni from PGDM, PGPM, PGDSM-MIT, PGEMP <strong>and</strong> FMB. Pr<strong>of</strong> Abbasali Gabula <strong>and</strong> Pr<strong>of</strong>Aditi Divatia were present at the meet.The Meet started with an interesting Ice Breakeractivity, which was planned to bring together alumnusfrom different batches <strong>and</strong> different companiesBangalore MeetFebruary 26, <strong>2011</strong>The Bangalore Alumni Meet held at Taj Gateway Hotelsaw about 100 attendees out <strong>of</strong> which 66 were Alumnifrom PGDM, PGDSM-MIT <strong>and</strong> PGEMP.Pr<strong>of</strong>. Aditi Devatia <strong>and</strong> Pr<strong>of</strong>. Latha Naair with alumniAlumni group at Pune with SPJIMR pr<strong>of</strong>s.together. This was well received <strong>and</strong> enabledinteraction among a larger <strong>and</strong> more diverse group.Pr<strong>of</strong> Aditi Divatia made a presentation about thestructure that is taking shape for the Alumni – <strong>Institute</strong>relations, followed by a healthy <strong>and</strong> enrichingdiscussion on the “way ahead” for the alumni-instituterelations.Many <strong>of</strong> our alumni, Mr. Vivek Damle (MMS 1985), Mr.Vivek Sahasrabuddhey (EMP- B3), Mr. Ranjit Gugle(FMB-8) & Mr. Advait Kurlekar (PGDM 1993) cameforward to share their experiences <strong>and</strong> their journeyafter SPJIMR. This was followed by a sumptuous dinnerin an extremely well arranged hall.Pr<strong>of</strong> Aditi Divatia, Faculty in charge <strong>of</strong> Alumni Relationsalong with our alumnus Mr Haresh Amre, (MMS1994), currently in Infosys, took the discussion onalumni - institute relations forward with inputs fromalumni present during the meet.There were several enthusiastic alumni from allbatches ranging from 1983 to the most recent batcheswho volunteered to manage the alumni activities atBangalore.The meet ended with a humorous <strong>and</strong> engaging notefrom Mr Jawahar Beekay <strong>and</strong> Mr Lovaii Navlakhi.They are from the batch <strong>of</strong> 1983, the first batch to passout <strong>of</strong> SPJIMR.The faculty present at the meet were Pr<strong>of</strong> AbbasaliGabula, Pr<strong>of</strong> Bindu Kulkarni, Pr<strong>of</strong> Latha Nair, Dr<strong>May</strong>ank Joshipura, Pr<strong>of</strong> Vanita Bhoola, Dr UmaNarain, Pr<strong>of</strong> Sajeev George, Pr<strong>of</strong> Nilanjan, Pr<strong>of</strong> Sood<strong>and</strong> Pr<strong>of</strong> Aditi Divatia.Pr<strong>of</strong>.
