Communicate to management in a timely manner anydifficulties encountered in following established policies,procedures, or standards.e. Immediately notify their supervisor and/or managementif they have engaged in serious misconduct as definedin the applicable procedure including, but not limited to,being arrested, having a suspended driver’s license, etc.2. Managers and supervisors shall:a. Ensure that employees adhere to the <strong>County</strong>’s policiesand procedures.b. Communicate policies, procedures and standards ina consistent manner and ensure that employees areafforded every opportunity to obtain clarification.c. Communicate changes in policies, procedures andstandards in a timely manner.d. Coach and guide employees in their performance andbehavior to successfully accomplish job requirements andresponsibilities, and utilize a Performance ImprovementPlan (PIP) when appropriate.e. Consistently and objectively observe and documentemployees’ performance and behavior. Employees shouldreceive timely feedback regarding their performance andbehavior.f. Ensure that the level of Corrective Action imposed isappropriate for the violation.
