<strong>Employment</strong> <strong>Policies</strong> <strong>Manual</strong> 83(2) In accordance with Section 250.48, Florida Statutes,an employee who is a member of the Florida NationalGuard will be granted a leave of absence with paynot to exceed a maximum of thirty (30) days at anyone time for periods of active State duty pursuant toSection 250.28 or 252.36, Florida Statutes.c. All other military leave shall be unpaid and grantedin accordance with the provisions of the UniformedServices <strong>Employment</strong> and Reemployment Act (USERRA)and the <strong>County</strong>’s policy regarding Other Types of Leave.Additionally, employees returning from approved militaryleave may be eligible for job reinstatement in accordancewith USERRA.5. Administrative Leavea. The <strong>County</strong> Manager has the authority to grantadministrative leave to manage special circumstancesand/or certain other work-related activities, as deemedappropriate by the <strong>County</strong> Manager.b. Administrative Leave for Re-examination or Treatmentby Veterans’ Administration with Respect to Service-Connected DisabilityAs defined by Section 110.119, Florida Statutes, employeeswho have been rated by the Veterans Administration tohave incurred a service-connected disability and have beenscheduled by the Veterans Administration to be re-examinedor treated for the disability shall be granted administrative
