Observing and waitingare the two most important faculties mind needs at thisjuncture. <strong>The</strong>se two faculties are also <strong>of</strong> great help in theobjective world for peaceful living. Keep observing thatpoint <strong>of</strong> pulsation as much as you can. When it unfolds,it makes a double sound. <strong>The</strong> sound is similar to so ham.Observe the threshold <strong>of</strong> centripetal and centrifugalfunction! That is the door to the temple <strong>of</strong> wisdom. Waitat that door, be patient. Wait as much as you can. Waitingthere, observing the door recedes the mind from all itstensions. Reach this point in every contemplation! Waitand observe! Gradually you will realise that on the otherside <strong>of</strong> the door there is a great chamber <strong>of</strong> light.When your mind is clean and open at the appointedhour, the door opens and you enter. Buddha did so.Jesus did so. Every initiate did so. When once you movethrough, you encounter the golden light <strong>of</strong> the temple.It is a golden temple, your house, where you can rest,unmindful <strong>of</strong> the objectivity. In this temple you havesubtle dimensions, you hear and see different from whatyou see and hear in the outer. It is a different world. Itis the world within the world. It is subtle and not filledwith gross matter as the objectivity. Learn to stay there!Staying there, you realise all the gifts <strong>of</strong> wisdom. It isnot so much gathering <strong>of</strong> wisdom. When realised, it isaround you. It is with the help <strong>of</strong> this wisdom that youmove forward. When you have the touch <strong>of</strong> the energy<strong>of</strong> purity that exists in the chamber <strong>of</strong> the heart, youtend to gain a pure heart. Your actions thereafter areone <strong>of</strong> love and purity. Love does not mean personalitylove. It is love that transmits itself unconditionally intothe surroundings, regardless the beings and things thatare surrounding you *.In this state mind stays absorbed in its source andlearns all from a different dimension. A lot can be said<strong>of</strong> this state, but for the moment this is sufficient.This is the practice one needs to do for contemplation.One can also get into it when one proposes it while goinginto sleep. Sleep is an unconscious entry into the source<strong>of</strong> mind. Practice <strong>of</strong> this is a conscious merging into theheart. When one merges into the source <strong>of</strong> mind, therespiration ceases, but the pulsation remains. <strong>The</strong>reforescriptures call this state as ‘Prana regulated’, which inSanskrit is said as ‘Prana – yama’.
