When this transformation iscomplete one stands immortal and does not suffer theevent <strong>of</strong> death and birth. To such ones it is enteringand exiting, but it is not termination. Death and birthare but experiences <strong>of</strong> transition. <strong>The</strong>y are not terminalin nature. For the soul, however, they terminate thetemporal aspect <strong>of</strong> life. It is the immediate step <strong>of</strong>transition for humanity and is therefore stressed inevery teaching. In the teachings <strong>of</strong> the Tibetan Master itis called third initiation and is in fact the first initiationaccording to Eastern Scriptures.<strong>The</strong> Masters <strong>of</strong> wisdom, who constitute theHierarchy <strong>of</strong> <strong>Teacher</strong>s, are those who have gained thisgolden body, adopting themselves to a specific way <strong>of</strong>life, which is called the discipleship. It is also calledRaja Yoga practice. <strong>The</strong>y lead one to a subtle life, whichis golden. Within the mundane life, there is the goldenlife and within the golden life there is the diamond14 15
