Continue toevaluate work processes in Admissions, Financial Aid, andRecords to identify optimal ways to improve workflow andfacilitate service delivery. Update the office Web site to incorporatenew features. Encourage staff training using availablecampus and Web resources.Monitor and sustain strong administrative services to HealthSciences Schools to support new academic programs, increasedenrollments, curricular changes, and academic initiatives.All areas of the office will be involved in these efforts(Admissions, Records/Registration, and Financial Aid) sinceevery new program or change signifies integration intocurrent online systems, development of policies and procedures,compliance with regulations, staff training, and statisticaland enrollment reports. Assess the accuracy andtimeliness of these processes to ensure optimal results anda seamless process among areas. New academic programswill require setup in the <strong>University</strong> systems before studentsstart the application process; new courses and curricularchanges to existing programs will be added to the CourseCatalog and Master Schedule of Courses following the semesterand the HSC modular academic calendars.Increase visibility of Health Sciences programs.Continue staff participation in activities and committeesand specific programs such as <strong>University</strong> Scholars/HonorsCollege, SUNY Financial Aid Day, Commencement ceremonies,and in the Academic Advising Certificate Programoffered by the Academic and Pre-Professional AdvisingCenter. Continue to coordinate the participation of HealthSciences Schools in campus-wide recruitment, advising,and Orientation events: <strong>University</strong> Open House, Admitted<strong>Student</strong>s program, Experience <strong>Stony</strong> <strong>Brook</strong> 2010, the MajorEvent program, Advising Day, Undergraduate AdmissionsOnline Chats, and the EOP/AIM Summer Program.Enhance student experience in HSC. Continue to be advisor tothe HSC Undergraduate <strong>Student</strong> Association.Plan and hold elections at the start of the academic yearto create the group for 2010-2011 and start operations.Increase student participation by specific outreach effortsto students and key faculty.
