The direction of this flow at the Project is anticipated tobe toward the north.Estimated groundwater levels may vary due to seasonal fluctuations in precipitation, local usage demands,geology, underground structures, or dewatering operations.According to the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, the Project is not located within an aquiferprotection district.6.2. OPERATIONAL ACTIVITIESThe Project is a residential apartment building. No noteworthy tenants occupy the Project and noenvironmentally significant operations are conducted at the Project.Considering the operations assessed at the Project, no environmental permits, registrations, or notificationsappear to be required.6.3. CHEMICALS AND RAW MATERIALSVisual observation for the use and/or storage of hazardous materials and petroleum products was performed.The following products listed in the Observed Materials Table below were identified.Observed MaterialsType of Material Quantity Storage Location UseRoutine janitorial and maintenance Small quantities Storage closets Project maintenance and upkeepsuppliesThe identified chemicals, materials, and products were observed in their sealed, original containers and indesignated storage areas. In addition, the concretefloors and asphalt surfaces appeared intact and no cracks were observed in the areas of productstorage/usage.6.4. WASTE GENERATION, TREATMENT, STORAGE, AND DISPOSALVisual observation for the generation, treatment, storage, and disposal of wastes was performed.
