Statement of Work: FDIC Phase I ESA, continuedIV. Tasks, continuedIf testing requirements exist, have a test performedwhich meets the specified protocol associated with therequirement or, if no such protocol exists, meet theEPA requirements for reliability in testing (RadonMeasurement Proficiency Program [RMMP]), and/or isstate-certified. The Environmental Professional willalready have included a cost estimate for such servicesin the FDIC Bid Proposal Form (see Attachment A:FDIC Bid Proposal Form). All EnvironmentalProfessionals and their subcontractors must also state intheir bid proposal that they are properly licensed and/orcertified to conduct radon tests and provide evidence ofsuch license and/or certifications. The EnvironmentalProfessional will provide appropriate recommendationsfor radon in the Summary and Recommendationssection of the Phase I Report and include a copy of thetesting requirement in the Appendix to the Report.ix.Drinking WaterIndicate if the Property is served by a publicly regulatedmunicipal water service or a private on-site system,such as a residential drinking water distribution system,and determine whether there is any indication ofcontamination that exceeds EPA minimum drinkingwater standards. Provide references to any documentedreports regarding lead in water that are known to thearea impacting the Property. Also determine whetherthere are lead pipes and lead solder, or lead-linedcoolers on the Property, which could affect theProperty’s drinking water distribution system. Providesupport for assumptions pertaining to anyrecommendation to sample drinking water in theSummary and Recommendations section of the Phase IReport.31
