Tasks, continued(b) For Special Resources:Contact applicable federal, state, and local regulatoryagencies for information on the presence of SpecialResources. Contacts include, but are not limited to, theappropriate U.S. Army Corps of Engineers DistrictOffice and the Natural Resources Conservation ServiceCounty Office for Wetlands; the U.S. Fish and WildlifeService if federally-listed Endangered Species(including their habitat) is present, or if the Property iswithin a Unit of the Coastal Barrier Resources System;the appropriate state Coastal Zone Management Agencyif the Property is within a coastal zone; the localmunicipality if the Property is situated in a 100-yearfloodplain; the agency responsible for administering theWild and Scenic River, the nearby Wilderness Area,and adjacent public land, as well as the localgovernmental authorities; The National Park ServiceRegional Office for Natural Landmarks; the appropriateOffice of Groundwater for the EnvironmentalProtection Agency if the Property is within theboundaries of a sole source aquifer and localgovernmental authorities; the state HistoricPreservation Officer and local governmental authoritiesif the Property has any archaeological or historicsignificance; and the applicable state Parks andRecreation Department for Recreational Areas.Indicate in the Summary and Recommendations sectionof the report what federal, state, and local requirementsmay be applicable for each Special Resource identifiedon the Property to include a description of the specificproperty condition that may cause the Property to fallwithin the referenced requirement(s).(c) Information to be obtained through these inquirieswill include, but not be limited to, the following:i. Status of federal, state, or local environmentalpermits or orders;16
