Recreational AreasIf there are any Natural Areas on the Property (withoutregard to the size of any such Natural Area), then, basedupon maps, aerial photographs, and site reconnaissance,ascertain whether there are any Recreational Areas,primarily in terms of existing or potential publicoutdoor recreational value, including areas that areappropriate for, or in use as, a park or other outdoorrecreational activity. If so, contact the appropriate stateand local recreational authorities, including the StateComprehensive Outdoor Recreational Planner, todetermine whether the Property has been identified foracquisition for recreational purposes and whether theProperty is associated with a national recreational,scenic, or historic trail established under the NationalTrails System Act.xi.Undeveloped Coastal Zones/Coastal Barrier Units(a) If there are any Natural Areas on the Property(without regard to the size of any such Natural Area),then, based upon maps, aerial photographs, and sitereconnaissance, ascertain whether there are anyUndeveloped Coastal Zones that fall within the scope ofthe Coastal Zone Management Act on the Property.Determine whether development of the Property isregulated, identify the types of restrictions, and identifythe regulatory agency (e.g., the State Coastal ZoneManagement Agency and local unit of government).46
