This booklet, as a supplement to otherdistribution, is now being distributed at the Fremantle Port when each cruise shipdocks. Passengers can choose a range of options for their full day ‘shore trip’.Armadale is positioning itself as the place to connect with its unique nature, freshfruit, and real Australian bush. Work has commenced with Coach Companies toinclude a visit to Armadale as the ‘new’ tourism product within this market. Thenew Aboriginal Interpretive Centre at Champion Lakes has the potential to become a‘must see’ icon of Perth, Western Australia for those visiting on Cruise Ships.The Coordinator continues to work as a Mentor within the Mentor Programme ofYATA (Young Australia Tourism Association) and is currently mentoring a younggentleman, just completing his TAFE qualifications in Tourism, who lives withinthe region.
