<strong>Divers</strong> <strong>Paths</strong> <strong>to</strong> <strong>Justice</strong>: Legal pluralism and the rights of indigenous peoples inSoutheast Asia(CLPIL) at the Faculty of Law since 1999. An indigenous Kelabit womanfrom Sarawak, much of Ramy’s work and research is on indigenouspeoples’ issues. Her PhD thesis at ANU was on “Native Title in Sarawak,Malaysia : Kelabit Land Rights in Transition (2005). She is currentlyinvolved in further research on the Legal Framework On Indigenous LandRights in Malaysia as part of the Suhakam National Land Inquiry, as well asa Socio-Economic Study of Orang Asli with the Economic Planning Unit,Prime Minister’s Dept, (EPU), UNDP and UNICEF with a view <strong>to</strong>formulating of a National Policy on Orang Asli.Jennifer CorpuzJennifer Tauli Corpuz coordinates the Legal Desk ofTebtebba Foundation. An indigenous woman fromthe Mountain Province in the Philippines and alawyer by profession, she conducts regular trainingson indigenous peoples’ rights in the internationalsystem. Jennifer obtained her Master of Laws(Ll.M.) from the University of Arizona’s Indigenous<strong>Peoples</strong>’ Law and Policy (IPLP) Program under thesupervision of S. James Anaya, renownedindigenous rights lawyer and present UN SpecialRapporteur on the Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms of Indigenous<strong>Peoples</strong>. She is deeply involved in the negotiations for an Access andBenefit-Sharing Pro<strong>to</strong>col (ABS Pro<strong>to</strong>col) under the auspices of theConvention on Biological <strong>Divers</strong>ity (CBD).Amity DoolittleAmity Doolittle completed her PhD atthe Yale School of <strong>Forest</strong>ry andEnvironmental Studies in 1999. Prior<strong>to</strong> that she obtained a Masters fromF&ES in 1994 and a BA inAnthropology from Harvard in 1987.She is a lecturer and research scientistat the Yale School of <strong>Forest</strong>ry andEnvironmental Studies where she159
