TheBFA degree provides students with a broad understanding ofthe visual arts and art history through a common 42-credit core.In addition, students complete an additional 30-credit optionin either Graphic Design or Studio Art. Portfolio reviews arerequired annually for continuation in the program. Completionof this degree program in four years requires careful attentionto course sequence and close work with a faculty advisor.Prerequisites must be met before courses are selected.A portfolio is required for admission and transfer to theDepartment of Art.
