Setting Up the LUTM ControllerStarting Up the LUTM ControllerPrincipleCurrentTransformersCertain settings must be made before starting up the controller.Before attempting to start up the controller, the characteristics of the currenttransformers used must be specified for each control unit.WARNINGINADEQUATE THERMAL PROTECTIONThe transformer ratio must be set in order to:• Indicate the characteristics of the current transformers used• Determine the default value of the adjustment range for the current thresholdrequired for setting the thermal protection• Connect the current transformers to the LUTM prior to starting the LUTMcontrollerFailure to follow these instructions can result in death, serious injury, orequipment damage.26 1743233 03/2008
