This research will need to be well coord<strong>in</strong>ated and well dissem<strong>in</strong>ated.Address<strong>in</strong>g only one or two of the priority areas <strong>in</strong> Table 13 may not significantlyimprove current <strong>in</strong>dustry susta<strong>in</strong>ability, because issues are <strong>in</strong>terrelated or<strong>in</strong>terdependent.It is necessary <strong>for</strong> shrimp farm research that a coord<strong>in</strong>ated and <strong>in</strong>tegratedapproach is <strong>for</strong>mulated. This must be fitted with<strong>in</strong> the framework of the exist<strong>in</strong>gresearch bodies <strong>in</strong> <strong>Thailand</strong> and collaborat<strong>in</strong>g overseas <strong>in</strong>stitutions.
