WORLDWIDE ACADEMIC SUPPORTSERVICES AND RESOURCES7.1 Institutional Commitment to Effective InstructionUMUC’s faculty members are dedicated to the academic success of their students, most of whom are workingadults, often juggling multiple priorities of family, career, and academic studies. Some students may be thefirst members of their families to attend college. For others, it may have been years since they last enrolled in acourse.
