shall not, for such reason or reasons, be rendered. (See Rule 63,TERMINATION, for termination of contract due to illness or injury).34. INJURY AND SUPPLEMENTAL WORKERS’ COMPENSATION PLAN.(A) Worker's Compensation. The Producer agrees to obtain <strong>and</strong> maintainWorker's Compensation Insurance coverage for all <strong>Actors</strong> in his employ. <strong>Actors</strong>'Equity Association shall be informed of the Producer's Worker's CompensationAccident carrier <strong>and</strong> carrier number, <strong>and</strong> this information shall be posted on theCallboard at all times.Failure to maintain Worker's Compensation Insurance shall make the Producerliable to the Actor for payments equivalent to any Worker's Compensation lost.This obligation shall survive the termination of the Actor's Contract ofEmployment.(B) Supplemental Workers’ Compensation Plan. The Producer agrees toprovide Supplemental Worker's Compensation (SWC) benefits through theEquity League Health Trust Fund at a cost of $4.00 per Actor per week. Aschedule of SWC benefits can be obtained at the Equity office.35. JUVENILE ACTORS.Whenever Juvenile <strong>Actors</strong>, (age 15 or under), are required to travel, they shall beaccompanied by a parent or adult designated by the parent. All terms <strong>and</strong> conditionsunder which the Juvenile Actor's parent or designated accompanying adult will travel<strong>and</strong> lodge during the Juvenile Actor's term of employment shall be described in a riderto the Actor's contract, which rider shall be attached to the Actor's contract prior tosigning.The Producer shall provide a responsible person to supervise Juvenile <strong>Actors</strong> during therehearsal period <strong>and</strong> all performances from half-hour until a responsible parent orguardian has called for each Juvenile Actor after curtain down. Such persons shall notperform functions that interfere with the supervision of said juveniles. <strong>Actors</strong> <strong>and</strong> StageManagers in the production shall not perform such supervisory duties.Juvenile <strong>Actors</strong> shall be provided with dressing room space separated from Chorus, oradult Principals.Whenever a Juvenile Actor is required to live away from Actor’s permanent residenceas registered with Equity <strong>and</strong> further provided the Juvenile Actor is traveling with aparent or legal guardian not regularly employed in the production, Producer, in additionto any other payments required, shall pay Juvenile Actor not less then an additionalone-third of 1/3 of the full per diem rate as provided in Rule 54(B).The Producer shall provide a tutor for any juvenile <strong>Actors</strong> in his employ who are awayfrom their place of residence during their normal school term. Tutorial time shall bededucted from the allowed rehearsal hours.42
