TRACTOR REQUIREMENTSWARNING: The tractor must have adequate weight and capacity to lift and carry themachine. Local legislation governing this ratio must be observed. The correct ratio betweentractor and machine ensures correct braking functions and manoeuvrability. An incorrectratio between tractor and machine can be dangerous.PT180 Model ►PT180 machines are connected to thetractor on the 3 point hitch, and willaccept either CAT 1 or CAT 2 linkages.The tractor must also be equipped with alevelling box. If the tractor is fitted with aswinging drawbar, this should be set inits shortest mode or removedcompletely. The tractor should beequipped with a six-splined PTO andrevolve at 540 rpm.PT180PT240 Model ►PT240 machines are connected to thetractor on the 3 point hitch, and willaccept only CAT 2 linkages. The tractormust also be equipped with a levellingbox. If the tractor is fitted with a swingingdrawbar, this should be set in its shortestmode or removed completely.
