Remove parking leg pin and raise the leg clear ofthe ground – replace pin and secure with lock pin.Connect the end of the PTO shaft that has theshear bolt to the machine. Secure the PTO guardretraining chain to a suitable location on themachine.Connect the other end of the PTO shaft to thetractor’s PTO drive. Secure the PTO guardretraining chain to a suitable location on thetractor.NOTE: On initial installation the PTO shaft lengthmay need adjusting to suit this particularapplication; refer to PTO driveshaft installationpage for details of this procedure.Connect the hydraulic hose fittings to the tractorspool valve.Unpack the Transport Latch Pull Cord and routeit into the tractor cab through the rear window – itshould be located in a position that is within easyreach of the operator from the tractor seat.Ensure the routing of the cord is such that it allowssufficient slack to avoid accidental or unintentionaloperation, and that it remains clear of all movingcomponents on both the tractor and the machineat all times.19
