Action orientated:participating in <strong>the</strong> bike rides and training courses.Enabling, Engaging, Encouraging and ExemplifyingSave Our World Ginger Group (732): Setting up a network of Ginger Groups in schools,aimed at saving energy in <strong>the</strong> school by educating children and teachers, and providing aFund for energy saving measures such as insulation. <strong>The</strong> emphasis is on providingresources for schools to do things <strong>the</strong>y cannot fund <strong>the</strong>mselves.Enables: by providing information on how schools can save energy, and finance through afund sharing structure. Encourages: with positive incentives (prizes for schools achieving60% reductions). Engages: by community action (school management teams workingtoge<strong>the</strong>r) and by forums (plays). Exemplifies: as <strong>the</strong> school demonstrates energy savingsto parents and <strong>the</strong> wider community.Incorporates Action, Understanding and ValuesAppleby Ltd July 2009
