At age 25, an angel, in an intensivedream to m y wife of a few days, revealed that God was calling me toHis service. 1 was merely embarrassed. Becoming a minister of JesusChrist was the /ast thing 1 should ha ve wanted todo."1 don't know whether that dream had any meaning," 1 said."Why not te11 it to the minister of the church on the corner -maybe he can te11 you whether it means anything." As Jonah,Paul and others had been a11owed to go their own way for a while,this un usual dream was soon forgotten - for the time. One decadewent by. Then God stirred me to the most intensive, almost dayand-night,study and research of m y life, resulting from dual challengesthat struck at my vanity.This intensive Bible study resulted in sweeping my mindclean of a11 previous religious assumptions, then opening m y mindto the UNDERSTANDING of God's Word- bringing meto a real repentance- being CONQUERED by God and His Word in unconditionalsurrender - and, in living FAITH turning over to HIM alife 1 felt was worthless. 1 humbly gave it to Him, if He could useit. And, like others He has conquered before me, He has used itthese fifty-one years!Back, now, to the thread of our story.
