Appendix 4: User OutreachThe models noted above will be validated for selected areas and problems within the region.Once the system is fully operational presentations will be made to all potential major users groups(regulatory agencies, emergency responders, power industry representatives, state environmentalagencies, etc.). Pilot systems will be implemented in the facilities of key user groups and an assessmentmade of the how well the system meets user demands. Feedback from the assessment processwill be used to better target the system and its products to meet user needs.An assessment will be made of a variety of options for ensuring sustained operation of the systemand recommendations made on the most viable approach.* Note that all the models are available for the above problem areas. They however need to be integratedinto COASTMAP, linked with appropriate input data sets, and the output customized forthe regional user community.POTENTIAL PROJECT PARTICIPANTSPotential project participants are listed below.
