Item 1was adopted by more than a two-thirds vote. Item 2 was adopted.Items 3-6 were referred to the Committee on Finance.Synod took a 15-minute break at 10:30 a.m.Following the break Synod sang Psalm 32D.The report of the Board of Pension Trustees was continued. Item7 was adopted. Item 8 was adopted by more than a two-thirds vote.Items 9 and 10 were referred to the Nominating Committee. RayHemphill and Clark Copeland expressed their gratitude for thesupplements received by Plan A participants in the pension program.The report as a whole was approved and is as follows:REPORT OF THE PENSION TRUSTEESThe Pension Trustees have met twice since the last meeting of Synod onOctober 14-15, 1994, and May 19-20, 1995. Both meetings were held inthe Pittsburgh area.The officers of the Board, elected at the fall meeting are as follows:Butch Shoop, Chairman; Bruce Lundeen, Vice Chairman; A. Wayne Duffield,Secretary; and Louis D. Hutmire, Treasurer.
