That James Pennington be nominated for re-election to the office ofProfessor of Missions for a two-year term to begin July 1, 1995.3. That the Seminary be granted $130,000 from RPMscM for each of theyears 1996 and 1997.4. That Synod elect two members to the class of 2001. Willard McMillan,Dennis Prutow and Robert Tweed (incumbent) are nominated by theBoard.5. That Synod elect two members to the class of 2002. Rich Johnston, PeterSmith and Walter Swartz (incumbent) are nominated by the Board.6. The recommendation was laid on the table toentertain a the following substitute: That Synod declare that when asession reports a tie vote on an overture, its vote is not countedwhen determining whether two-thirds of the sessions have approvedthe overture. The substitute was adopted.Synod spent time in prayer as members joined together in smallgroups, and concluded this time singing Psalm 72A.Following the announcements, Synod was led in prayer by BruceManwaring as Synod took recess at 12:20 p.m.WEDNESDAY, JUNE 21, 1995, 1:30 P.M.Synod reconvened at 1:30 p.m. singing Psalm 128A and beingled in prayer by Kelly Moore.The roll was passed.The minutes of the previous session were read and approved.The order of the day, the 1995 elections to fill vacancies onSynod's boards and committees was taken up. The ballots weredistributed and Bruce Hemphill led in prayer before delegates markedtheir ballots.Three reports from the Woman's Association were taken up: Thereport of the Administrator of the Reformed Presbyterian Home,given by William Weir; the report of the Executive Director of the
