Any person who shall turn loose, or suffer anykind of animal belonging to him or under his controlto stray' or go about, or to be tethered or depasturedin or upon any -road, recreation ground, or reserveotherwise than within the Central Ward of the district,shall, on conviction, he liable to a penalty notexceeding £5.74. The owner of any animal suffering front aninfectious or contagious disease shall not permit suchanimal to he ridden or allowed to stray on any road,unfenced land, or reserve tvithin the district. Anyanimal so suffering may be slaughtered and destroyedwithout notice and at the owner's expense.75. The owner or driver of any such animal shallbe liable, if eonviete I of a breach of this By-lawto a penalty not eleeeding £10 and not less than £2.`trayrng Stork,76. No owner or person having the custody or eontrolof any alliMal shall cause, permit, Or suffer suchanimal to stray on :my road, ,publie reserve, or otherpublic place, or on any tinfenced land abutting thereonwithin the bounda-ry of the Central Ward of the district.77. (a) Any contravention of By -law 76 shall be anoffenee punishable. under these By-laws, if the animalis a bull, boar, or stallion, by a fine not exceeding f20and not less than £2.(b) Trl'any other ease, by a line not exceeding £10and not less than 105.78. Provided that this By-law shall not apply illthe ease of stork whilst in the charge of the TownRanger duly appointed by the Board.Registration of Cattle.79. Notwithstanding the registration of any dairywith the Local Health authority, the owner or personhaving the custody of any dairy or other cattle keptiu the Central Ward of the district shall, duringouch of July in each year, furnish full partieurequiredand make application to the Board inescribed form. Such application, accompanieda registration fee of One shilling per head, shallbe lodged at the °thee of the Board; and any personrailing to comply with the provisions of this By-lawshall be liable to a penalty not exceeding £'2 or lossthan PM; shillings.Registered .Dairy Cows.80. Registered dairy cows may be placed in chargeof the Town Ranger, between the hours of 8 a.m. and5 p.m. daily, on payment to such Ranger of such herdingfee as is from time prescribed by resolution of theBoard.Copulation of Stock.81. Any person who, as owner or otherwise, whilein charge of an entire horse, bull, or ass shall cause,allow, permit, or suffer any such entire horse, bull, orass to try to cover ally mare or cow within any townshipwithin the district, or shall cause, permit, allow,or suffer any such entire horse, bull, or ass to be turnedloose in any yard tor in any other place with any mareor cow for the purpose of allowing such mare or cowto be tried or covered, except in some yard, building,or other premises as shall be entirely and su-fficientlyscreened from public view shall forfeit and pay, onconviction, a sum nut exceeding £10.Goats.82. (a) No person shall keep any goat within theboundaries of the Town Ward of the Kojonup RoadDistrict unless such goat shall have been registeredand the registration fee of sixpence paid to the Secretaryof the Board.(b) Every registration shall be renewed in themonth of July in each year.(c) The Board may refuse to register any goat ifin the opinion of the Board suitable accommodationhas not been provided for keeping such goat.(d) The penalty for breach of any of the precedingclauses shall be a suns not exceeding £5 for eachbreach, in addition to such sums as the justices maydirect as compensation for damages done by suchgoats.Crossing Places.$5. It shall be lawful for the owner of any landfronting or adjoining any public way requiring accessthereto with horse or vehicle front such street to suchland across :thy existing Made footpath, kerbing,eltannel, of gutter, having. first had and obtained theeonsent or the I1oitrd, to construct a crossing of suchdimensions and materials, and in such form andmanner as the regulations of the Board for the timebeing require, or as may be directed by the Secretary,and thereafter keep and maintain the same in goodrepair. The Kojonup Road Board, under and by virtueof the powers contained in "The Road, Districts Act,1919," and "The Cattle, Trespass, Fencing, and ImpoundingAct, 1882," hereby appoint Kojonup ROadDistrict Public Pound, situated on Kojonup Town Lot131, Reserve 15745, to be the Public Pound for theKojonup Road Board.85. Any person who shall break, damage, or destroyany pound, fence, gate, lock, shed, trough, or otherpremises, the property of the Board, shall be liable toa. penalty not exceeding £5.86. Any person who shall obliterate, deface, ordamage any table of fees, placard, or other notice requiredby "The Cattle, Trespass, Fencing, and ImpoundingAct, 1882," shall be guilty of an offenceagainst this By-law, and shall be liable to a penaltynot exceeding .£5.87. Any person who shall release or attempt torelease any cattle which shall be lawfully seized forthe purpose of being impounded, whether such cattle
