PREP SCHOOLMelodious MomentsPrep students on songThe KWS Music Program is known for its success innurturing talent, and some of our youngest talents tookto the stage for a highly entertaining KWS Prep MusicConcert in June.The concert featured all of our K-6 students singing orplaying.The evening’s entertainment kicked off with an energeticperformance by the Prep Senior Band before the JuniorWoodwind Ensemble entertained with ‘I Dream ofJeannie’. Year 6 student Molly Knight Hannan followedwith a spellbinding harp solo.Other notable performances included the JuniorPercussion Ensemble, who wrote their own music (witha bit of help from their teacher), the beautiful choirs, thePrep Quintet, who performed a piece written by LorraineMoxey, and the lovely Prep Strings.The Junior Band and Junior Brass Ensemble played withgreat energy and our other soloists – Oscar Tierney onpiano and Owen Bloomfield on trumpet – were also abig hit.24Pictured this page: Top - members of the 1-2 Choir; members of the Prep Senior Band; bottom - Koristers.
