81: Model NameThe model name screen allows each model to be given up to asixteen-digit name or number. This is convenient for identifyinga model. The model’s name will appear on the main info screen.To Name a Model1. In the SYSTEM MODE, highlight and select MDL Nameusing the Selector.2. Position the cursor using the roller (indicates where thenext character will be placed) at the beginning of themodel name. Press the Selector to obtain a list of availablecharacters.3. Highlight and select the desired character to form the modelname. After the character is selected, rotate the Selector toposition the cursor where the next character is to be placedand press the Selector to obtain the character list again.Repeat until the model name is completed.4. Return to the SYSTEM Menu by pressing the LIST button.A-8
28: Model ResetModel Reset is used to reset all programming to factory defaultsettings. When setting up a new model it is important toreset all parameters to their default or factory settings beforeproceeding with any other programming. This is to ensure thatthere are no programming values or functions active from aprevious model or programming session.To Reset a Model Memory1. In the SYSTEM MODE, highlight and select MDL Resetusing the Selector.2. Press the CLR button that is next to RESET on the display.3. Press the lowermost button next to YES on the display toreset all data for this model.4. Return to the SYSTEM Menu by pressing the LIST button.A-9
