MEANING :Meditate the Lord as the slayer of the mighty bull.Meditate Him also as the great bull and the Lord of pervasion. He is the manifestation of the nodal points of time which causethe fertilisation of this earth. Also meditate Him as havingthe belly of a bull. He makes beings grow and he is the onewho keeps on growing in them. He is aloof in his uniquenessthough he is omnipresent. He knows the perfection of the Veda.Explanation :1. Lord Krishna killed the demon who came in the form ofa bull, that was waiting among the cattle of Gokul to kill LordKrishna. In the Vedic sense, the word Vrishahi means the mysticbeing that evolves from the stage of the serpent to that of thebull. It marks the role of the two signs Scorpio and Taurus in theprocess of evolution. Taurus represents the fertilising masculineenergy of nature and Scorpio marks its entanglement in theconsciousness of sex differentiation and sex attraction. This iscalled the descent of energy into the form-nature of force. Thismarks the path of the zodiacal signs from Taurus to Scorpio viaGemini, Cancer etc.The second half is the path of ascent which marks the stageof the energies transcending into the stage of pure consciousnessthrough the stage of liberation from form-nature to the stage ofpure consciousness. This marks the process of transcending sex andreaching the stage of pure creation. Once again, the bull or Taurusmarks the stage of fertilisation in its highest sense. This path ofascent is marked between Taurus and Scorpio via Aries, Pisces etc.The first path is called the planetary path whereas the second path iscalled the path of equinoxes. This second path is rightly termed as ‘reversingthe wheel’ by Master Djwalkhul in his Esoteric Astrology.116
