6. The soul has the deeper layer of conscolusness which isthe deepest of all and which is omni-present in all. This is calledThe Spirit in man. When the four lines which form the four arms ofthe cross are drawn from the centre of consciousness, they arecalled disas - the four directions. When the right angles formed bythese lines are bisected by four more lines so as to form eightequal divisions of 45° each, they are called Vidisas. When the twovertical lines, one towards the meridian and the other towards theNadir are drawn they are called Vyadisas.This total figure is the base of the multi-dimensionalconsciousness.
