The Lord is ocean of such jeevas and stands asthe spirit of infinity unto eternity lying on the surface of the oceanand making the ocean as the end of all jeevas.Explanation :1. Jeeva is the unchanging permanent unit which stands asthe living being without undergoing any change. It is next to theLord’s presence in everyone of us.2. It is the one who leads through various births and thevarious incidents according to the desires of the mind. It makesthe mind learn through experience to practise humility, to realizethe Lord in all.3. It gives the training to the mind while it stands aloof ofthe involvements of the mind. Hence it works not only as theonlooker but also as the witness to register everything of the mind.4. The jeeva is in fact a storehouse of the Lord Himself inan immanent fashion. The mind has to feel it and learn toexperience the Lord of immanence to know the same Lord as theLord of transcendence and afterwards as omnipresence.5. The Jeeva is the storehouse of all the energies thatcontribute to the valour of the individual existence. It is in factthe energy centre of all the energy centres in the constitution.6. It is the ocean which leads the individual existences tothe ocean of eternity which is the abode of the one spirit fromwhich the individual droplets of spirits emerge and into whichthey return. The Lord is lying as the one presence on the surfaceof this ocean. He keeps this ocean of one existence as the end ofthe individual existence.198
